jesse:
So as a first post in the customization section I wanted to show you guys a little bit of the silliness you can get up to with the editor! So obviously you can make levels and puzzles of all variety (watch for updates with more templates and traps opened up), but did you know you can also make your own custom tile sets? Check these out:

I love Super Mario Bros. 3 and wanted to see Wyv and Keep bopping around in one of my favorite NES environments. It's pretty silly and a lot of fun. AND I'm trying to convince David and Beau to let you guys add custom player and trap animations, so you can change those into whatever you want as well. We'll see how that goes.
So how do you accomplish this? Well we're looking at ways to make it even easier, but it's already pretty simple. Just add a folder called "Textures" into the game folder and drop in your .pngs. The tile sheet should be 128px wide, but any height in multiples of 16 (160, 176, 192, etc.) is okay. The background should be 320x240. Then go to Content>Data> and open up themes.wnk in a text editor (like notepad.exe). Add a line like this:
{"name":"Super Mario Brothers 3" "tiles":"tilesSMB3" "background":"bgSMB3" "music":"W1 Jungle"}
Using whatever name you like first, and then the filenames of the tileset and bg image respectively. It currently doesn't support custom music, hopefully another thing that will be added soon. Cross your fingers!
